About

We don't need to look tough. We need to be useful.

TACT Protection is a specialist security brand from TACT Group Ltd, built by people who got tired of watching security be performed rather than done.

Why TACT exists

The security industry has become very good at looking like security. Logos, uniforms, convoys, jargon and a great deal of ego. Very little of it makes anybody safer.

TACT was set up around a simpler idea: understand the assignment properly, put the right people on it, prepare well, and stay adaptable when it changes. Everything else is decoration.

Professional does not mean humourless

Our officers are serious about the work and easy to be around. That combination matters more than most clients expect. You are going to spend hours, days or weeks with these people. They should be capable, and they should be someone you can stand next to.

What we will always do

  • Tell you honestly what we think you need — including when it is less than you asked for
  • Say when something is outside our capability or lawful scope
  • Keep your details, your household and your business confidential
  • Work lawfully, and expect the same of the people we work for

The company behind the brand

TACT Protection is the trading and operating brand for the security services division of TACT Group Ltd. The wider company was established deliberately, so further services and divisions can be developed in future without changing the structure underneath. For you, nothing changes: the brand you deal with is TACT Protection.
