Sports & Combat Sports Event Security
Sports events compress everything into a few hours: crowds, adrenaline, money, media and people who are very well known walking through very public spaces.
- What this is
- Rarely in the middle of the crowd. Almost always at the seams — the walk from the dressing room, the tunnel, the moment a fighter or athlete crosses a public concourse, the after-party, the car park at midnight, and the friction between rival camps backstage.
- Who it's for
- Promoters, venues, sponsors and event teams.
- Where we work
- Cotswolds · Gloucestershire · London · UK · Worldwide
- Why TACT
- Assignment-led personnel selection, preparation before presence, and no unnecessary theatre. A new name built on experience.

Where events actually go wrong
Rarely in the middle of the crowd. Almost always at the seams — the walk from the dressing room, the tunnel, the moment a fighter or athlete crosses a public concourse, the after-party, the car park at midnight, and the friction between rival camps backstage.
Planning for those seams is what separates a competent event operation from a row of high-vis jackets facing the wrong way.
What we cover
We work alongside venue security and event teams, focusing on the people and areas that need dedicated attention.
- Fighter and athlete protection from arrival to departure
- Dressing room and backstage access control
- Ringside, cage-side and front-of-house positions
- Promoter, sponsor and VIP guest protection
- Weigh-ins, press conferences and media days
- Hotel, transfer and after-party cover
Planning an event with us
We start with the run sheet: who arrives when, which routes they use, where the camps are held, who has access to which areas, and what happens at the highest-pressure moments — the walk-out, the result, and the exit.
Common questions
- Do you replace the venue's stewards?
- No. Venue stewarding handles the crowd. We provide dedicated protection for specific people and controlled areas, and coordinate with the venue team.
- How far in advance should event security be booked?
- As early as the run sheet exists. For fight nights, several weeks is normal; short-notice support is often still possible.
- Are you affiliated with any promotion?
- No. TACT is an independent security provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any specific promotion or organisation.
