Fight Night Security

Fight night is a schedule, not an event. Security either matches the run sheet minute for minute, or it improvises all evening.

What this is
Doors, prelims, VIP arrivals, main card, walk-outs, result, presentations, media, load-out. Every one of those has a movement attached to it, and every movement is a decision about who goes where.
Who it's for
Anyone running or fighting on a card.
Where we work
Cotswolds · Gloucestershire · London · UK · Worldwide
Why TACT

Working to the run sheet

Doors, prelims, VIP arrivals, main card, walk-outs, result, presentations, media, load-out. Every one of those has a movement attached to it, and every movement is a decision about who goes where.

We build the security plan directly onto the run sheet so that officers know what is happening next rather than reacting to it.

The end of the night

Most incidents happen after the final bell: emotions, alcohol, rival supporters and a car park emptying at once. Exit planning is a core part of the job, not an afterthought.

Common questions

How many officers does a fight night need?
It depends on capacity, the number of fighters, the venue layout and whether alcohol is served. We give a staffing recommendation after reviewing the run sheet and floor plan.
