The right team is built around the requirement. Selection considers the client profile, the environment, the risk, how long the assignment runs, whether it travels, medical requirements, public exposure, the event environment, operational complexity and any specialist skills the work demands.

Where an assignment demands additional capability, TACT can select personnel with relevant specialist qualifications and experience to match the requirement. Not every operative holds every qualification, and we do not pretend otherwise.

Selected personnel may hold additional qualifications such as First Response Emergency Care (FREC), allowing team composition to be matched to the operational requirements of an assignment.

What we look for

Judgement, communication and temperament. Physical capability matters, but it is the least frequently used part of the job. An officer who can defuse a situation in a sentence is worth more than one who can win it.

Licensing

Personnel undertaking licensable private security activities are selected and deployed in accordance with applicable Security Industry Authority (SIA) licensing requirements, holding the appropriate licence for the activity they carry out. TACT does not hold or claim SIA Approved Contractor Scheme status.
